Singapore had it first little version of the World Fair Trade Day on May 10, 2008. The event was organized by Fairtrade.sg and participants were treated to Fair Trade coffee, chocolates and biscuits provided by CafeDirect and Jared Tham at Cafe #03 along Rowell Road. Villagexchange also showcased some handicrafts and participants had an interesting discussion about promoting Fair Trade and ethical consumption in Singapore. Photos of the event can be found here
